Power Cone donates 5% of gross revenues to organizations working to reduce suffering and protect the planet. The Power Van is 100% electric, so we’ve got that going for us. We do have to use an diesel generator to power the soft serve machine when electricity is unavailable, but it is very fuel efficient. We acknowledge that dairy farming generally has a massive environmental foot print. We source our dairy from a farm that practices sustainable agriculture, derives a significant amount of their energy from a massive solar array, and doesn’t use any hormones in their cows. We are looking at ways to measure and offset our complete climate footprint.
